Ze craft room, she is fini!!

The new craft room unveiled!

This is/was my youngest daughter's bedroom.
She is beginning her 4th year in college and has spent the summer doing an internship at a wedding
venue/Plantation. Her goal is to be a wedding planner.
She is dating a wonderful guy named Matthew
who calls her (a totally too grown-up)
Rebecca. The first time in her life
that Becca has not been our little "Becca".
At this point, I'm not expecting a full time return home.
I suspect she is well on her way
to...sigh, Rebeccahood.
I've left her bed intact but transformed the rest
of the room into a much-needed craft room.

The desk area

The storage closet

Over the bed

Always in the company of angels.

I love you Becca..I mean, Rebecca.
I'm borrowing your room
but it's always yours when you need it.

  1. How fun. Wow you have everything so beautifully organized. How nice to have a room to do your crafts in. It is just gorgeous. Kind of sad when they all fly the coup, but I guess a craft room helps fill the void. Love it. Hugs, Marty

  4. Very nice, Dena! I love the yellow with the red accents. It's very neat and she can just step back in and use it if needed. I have sconces like yours over the day bed I have in our spare bedroom. It is the smallest bedroom and really has no room for side tables. Those sconces work out good, don't they?

  7. HAHA! I'm sure Matthew will get a kick out of this post. My room looks much better like this and a lot less like a teenager's room... I don't know WHAT I was thinking with the pink and orange! Love you mom. It looks great and I hope you love it!
