Crafty Family

I wanted to share all of the crafty things
I got for Christmas this year.

My niece Jennifer, made this clipboard gift set.
She glued paper to the clipboard and added a D before decoupaging the whole thing. Then a few colorful notepads, tied up with ribbon and a handmade tag with another D.
I just love it, it makes me want to write things!

My sister-in-law Sherri crocheted this scarf for me
and one for each of my daughters!

My sister-in law Lisa decorated this box using her Cricut.
And inside....

a handmade necklace and 3 antique button-flower pins
but that's not all...

under that box were a rooster embroidered
dish towel and pot holder

with a handmade tag tied to cookie cutters.

Here's a close-up of the embroidery.
I'm seriously thinking about getting an
embroidery machine myself.
I'll take all of the bloggy advice I can get about
which one is best.

It has been soooo cold here the last couple of days Jack had his coat on to take his walk. He is just too handsome in his letterman jacket not to share. LOL!

Happy Tuesday Ya'll!

  8. Such great handmade gifts. I love getting things someone has made just for me. I might borrow this idea to blog about if you don't mind:) I have a Janome embroidery machine and am still learning how to use the millions of things it can do. The chicken towels look amazing. Good luck in your search, they are fun to use.
