MaMa's Got a Brand New Bag!

I mean kitchen!
Yep! She finally had her kitchen remodeled right before Christmas and it turned out beautifully.
It took 5 days to install start to finish and miraculously
has no glitches to be corrected!

Here are the BEFORE pictures:

And the AFTER pictures:

Oak cabinets, a new sink, faucet, garbage disposal
and dishwasher.

A new, smooth cooktop stove and oven with a
built-in microwave above.
This is a brand new location from the right side
of the kitchen to the left.

The refrigerator was on the other side of the room and now has a home where the stove used to be.

This was the refrigerator's old location with lots of
wasted space beside it.
Now this is a whole wall of precious upper and lower cabinets
and needed counter space.

New cabinet knobs and handles throughout.

The table fits much better without the refrigerator
on the left wall.

New formica countertops and coffee pot with
keep-hot carafe!

Rooster towel embroidered by her daughter,
Lisa. ( I got one too!)

New lighting installed by her son-in law, J.R.!

This is a hand-painted Nippon Tea set that MaMa has had for years. A gift from her sister-in-law, Bobbie.
If you know anything about Nippon china let us know...
we are curious about the origins and history.

Roosters (this one is from me) and apples are going to be MaMa's "theme". Her daughter, Lisa is making new red and green plaid curtains and I'm making a wall decal saying,
"Give us this day our daily bread" at the request of another daughter, Sherry.

MaMa and PaPa deserved this kitchen if anyone did.
It was a great Christmas present to themselves, and with a few special touches from the family, it is perfect!

We love you MaMa and PaPa, wishing you many, many, many more years of enjoyment in your new kitchen!

Please show MaMa some love in your comments!
