Guest Room Update

The Goal: Freshen up the guest room
by painting the furniture and adding blue accents.

It is still a work in progress.
Spray painting this old, rickety chair a crisp
spa blue was the first item on my list.

I love the shape of the chair, I was thinking about
adding an Alpine-esque floral design on the back.
I like the new color and will revisit the stencil idea
when I'm finished with the other items.

I also painted this frame

The night table

and the old dresser.

A Christmas tray has been
repurposed for everyday use by applying
contact paper to fit in the bottom.

Still on the Agenda:
Painting the bed
making pillows
making a table runner
and
embellishing the curtains
and chandelier shades.
Phew!

  5. Wow,Dena, you've done quite a bit so far! Love the new chair color and I could see something coming down that back portion. Great shape to that tray ~ good idea to put paper over it so you can use it year round. Looking forward to seeing more!
