Here comes Peter Cottontail,
hoppin' down the bunny trail.
Hippity, hoppity,
Easter's on it's way!
Bringing every girl and boy baskets full of Easter joy,
things to make your Easter bright and gay.
He's got jellybeans for Tommy,
colored eggs for sister Sue,
There's an orchid for your Mommy
and an Easter bonnet, too.
Oh! here comes Peter Cottontail,
hoppin' down the bunny trail,
Hippity hoppity,
Happy Easter day.
Here comes Peter Cottontail,
hoppin' down the bunny trail,
Look at him stop, and listen to him say:
"Try to do the things you should."
Maybe if you're extra good,
he'll roll lots of Easter eggs your way.
You'll wake up on Easter morning
and you'll know that he was there.
When you find those chocolate bunnies
that he's hiding everywhere.
Oh! here comes Peter Cottontail,
hoppin' down the bunny trail,
Hippity hoppity,
Happy Easter day!
Happy Easter Ya'll!

ReplyDeleteDena-I don't know if you've seen my recent posts, but my mom has been very ill and I've been away from blogging for quite a while now. I'm still in Florida with my mom, but we did bring her home today. I feel terrible that I am so late in telling you how much I enjoyed the necklace...life was chaos before I headed to Florida trying to arrange things and fell apart completely when I got here. It really is darling, I love having something you made. I will wear it every year for St. Pat's!
